Getting to know Aerolineas Argentinas
Aerolineas Argentinas is the largest airline in Argentina and also the country’s flag carrier. It was established in 1950, making it one of the older airlines around the globe.
Following severe financial troubles, the airline was taken over by a consortium led by Spanish airline Iberia in 1990. However, the Argentinian government regained control over Aerolineas in 2008 and has been entirely state-owned since the end of 2014.

Between Argentina and Colombia as well as other South American countries and Europe, passengers are allowed to check baggage of up to 32kg when flying Economy and 40kg when flying Club Condor.
Piece concept
Aerolineas Argentinas’ baggage restrictions according to the weight concept differ greatly from route to route. However, passengers can typically expect a limit of 2 pieces of 23kg each in Economy and 3 pieces of 32kg each in Club Condor. Do check the baggage specifications for your route before flying.
Check in
In the case of international and regional flights, passengers will have to check in at the airport counter. However, domestic routes do allow passengers to check in via web or mobile.
For airport check in passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours before the scheduled departure of their flight.
Web and mobile check in opens 24 hours and closes 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight.
